First Lady - Linda Maynor-Oxendine
Sr. Pastor Terry K. Oxendine is the Lead Pastor of Harvest Church of the Assemblies of God, located in the small rural southeastern North Carolina community of Rowland, N.C. He is the son of a Baptist Minister and Pastor.
Pastor Oxendine confessed Christ as his Lord and savior at the age of thirteen and felt the call to preach at the age of fifteen; due to fear, he did not immediately respond. Shortly after, Pastor Terry began spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music, traveling throughout the Carolinas and Virginia; this lasted until the age of thirty. For the succeeding five years Pastor Oxendine mentored under his Pastor, a veteran in the ministry, Rev. Roy L. Clark.
In 1985, Pastor Oxendine began his preaching ministry at the age of twenty-two. At the age of thirty-five Pastor Oxendine transitioned into his full pastoral ministry. Since this time, he has served as the Senior Pastor of Harvest Church of the Assemblies of God. During his tenure Harvest Church has increased in number and in 2010 the congregation moved into a million-dollar worship facility. Phase II of the project has begun with an artist rendering. It is hopeful that construction will begin within the next three-five years as guided by the Holy Spirit.
In 2000, Pastor Oxendine enrolled in the Native American Bible College located in Shannon, NC; he attended Bible College for four years. In 2013 Pastor Oxendine enrolled in the ministry leadership degree program at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fl. Recognizing that learning is a lifelong process, Pastor Oxendine understands the value of Christian education at all levels and hopes to one day earn his doctorate in the ministry.
Pastor Oxendine is married to First Lady Linda Maynor-Oxendine. Pastor Oxendine and wife Linda have two children, their son Zachary and daughter Lindsey. Pastor Terry and Sis. Linda also have one grandson, Judah. They reside in Lumberton, NC.
